Oops took the wrong exit.

Funny haha.

Left Arizona and headed east on I10.

After a few days of diving I needed a break. Stayed 2 days at a nice RV park in Anahuac Tx. Just east of Houston. I changed route from going north on the Natchez Trace to going straight north from Anahuac. I avoided bad storms on the other route. After three days of driving from Anahuac, I arrived home. Good to be home even with winter returning. Had to winterize the trailer right away.

Quartzite

I moved to Quartzsite AZ. I'll be staying at LaPosa South LTVA. Cost is $40 for 14 days. They have water, dump stations, and trash dumpsters. There are some people here that I know from the caravans I joined back in 2018.

I plan on staying for 2 weeks. Then I'll move to a free BLM dispersed camping site.

Got out my Generator. Haven't needed it due to sunny weather.

Went to the VFW for a steak dinner. Forgot to take a picture of the dinner. Desert was a chocolate covered strawberry 🍓 

On the way back to camp we saw quite a site. SpaceX launch from Vandenburg Ca.

That's all. Leaving for Quartzsite next Saturday. 

Repairs & SB60

My reading lamp quit working. I ordered a replacement and installed it. Works great.

Esther sent me some items in the mail. A  art painting kit was fun working on.

My bedroom reading lamp quit. I have a replacement on the way. I miss it. 

Went on a trail ride with Steve and Tom. Tom is Debbie's son. We have known Debby since we met her out here back in 2018.

That's all folks. The weather has been great.Best since I've come out here. Notice all the greenery and flowers. The summer monsoons were very wet.

Cool and Windy

We had a stretch of real windy weather. Gusts up to 40 mph. That gets the trailer to rocking. One thing to do on windy days is go for a dtive. I went into Yuma and I washed my truck. The hand held sprayer is so strong you have to lean into it. After that I  got a Coney at Wienerschnitzel. The eastern horizon is awesome almost every morning:

Today I went into Yuma to get a flu shot at Sam's.  After that we went to my favorite burger place for lunch. Wish we had them in Michigan. 

Greg made a big lit up B at the entrance to our camp spot. It's helpful to find it in the dark.

Cool huh. B for Boyer, Boggs, and Byar.

First full day at Imperial Dam LTVA

Woke up and made my coffee.

Went in to Yuma to get some supplies.  I needed RVCaulk for a repair on my roof. Then bought some groceries for 5 way chilli which I will make for everyone.  It turned out to be a perfect day. I changed into short and a t-shirt.  It was pretty hot up on the roof of the trailer.

Getting the old cap off was a little tough. The new cap when on easily. 

FYI. I will not post unless something interesting happens from now on.
