Weatherford to Van Horn Tx

Today we only drove 6 hours. It was 32 degrees which was unexpected. Stopped at a Denny's. Food was good but it was cold inside. : ( We stopped for the day at a rest area just east of Van Horn Tx

 Our plan is to take off around midnight and get through El Paso and avoid the heavy traffic there.

I don't  have much room in the back of the trailer due to hauling the Honda ATV. See pic:

Sedalia to Weatherford

Got up early and left Steve's. Drove 12 hours to a rest area west of Weatherford Tx. Gas is cheaper down here. Bucees had the best price. See the picture.

I froze some dinners at home to heat up on the trip. Lasagna tonight.

On my way

 I shoveled lots of snow to prepare for leaving. Then it mostly melted. Oh well you never know. Hit the road early Saturday. It was raining and the temp was 31. I didn't experience any icy roads. About half way down Indiana the weather cleared up. Decided not to stop half way since it was too early to stop at the rv park. Continued on to Steve's. Below is a picture of his earth home.
